the talented mr. seymour

This is Colin Munro Seymour, who works with Mark Fast, doing a bit of everything at the moment (he said 'I guess you could call me the Coordinator'). Mark Fast has caused a bit of controversy recently because he used models in his brilliant show @ LFW that were shaped more like most women are shaped. If you haven't seen the show, or you'd like to see it again, simply click here. His work is brilliant, I feel, and quite original, and the clothes have also caused some debate. Where do you stand?

Colin is from Canada, (which is also where Mark is from) and he is smart, funny, and very, very charming. He made this fabulous bodysuit, and on a day when everyone else wore the outfits they'd planned for ages, which meant fur, leather, etc - and couldn't take off their layers because it would spoil the effect - Colin was the only person who was suitably dressed. He does have his own line, Colin Munro, so keep an eye out, as it's coming soon. And that's really all I've got to say on the subject, but mark my word, you are looking at one of fashion's rising stars. Two, actually: Colin, AND Mark Fast.

. . .

p.s. Thank you for your great comments. Just realised I need to clarify: Colin's outfit (made by him, not Mark Fast) is a bodysuit, not a shirt or top. I hope he'll be making these unisex, because I'd love one. I'd wear it swimming. In fact, wouldn't it be fabulous lined with wet suit material, for those chilly English seaside swims!

Perhaps this shot will help explain:

This is so incredibly fabulous. I adore the Vargas Girl print! I give him credit for feeling confident enough to wear this in public; it's quite...interesting! :)

This is wonderful :D and I think he deserves a round of applause for making that himself! And it's also good to know he works with mark fast - as you know I posted on that ;) They did a wonderful job at LFW!

This is a really lovely informal shot.. And he obviously has a real eye for design. I agree with the comment above, round of applause!
Have been enjoying all the latest posts, as usual.
Thankyou for that comment. Yours are always so interesting to read- and I really appreciate you telling me about that site. I will definitely check it out, sounds fascinating.
And I can't wait to see the phots from that shoot you did, it sounds so intriguing.
Oh,and I promise I will getaround to sending those photos sometime. Blame school and my forgetfulness.

That adorable boy reminds me a little too much of my college boyfriend. So cute. Does he have a website where we can look at his clothes?

I remember seeing a photo of him in his singlet somewhere or other during LFW and wondering who the heck that guy was. Thanks for solving the mystery!
