all you need is love



I met Tim and Kyle on the beach in front of the Delano Hotel, in South Beach Miami, on a glorious day that felt like heaven on earth. Hot, but not too hot. I'd just swam in the gorgeous, turquoise sea. They looked like giant Greek gods, two Zeuses in a pod, floating on a giant cloud that is a chaise lounge for Delano guests. They were talking with a friend, who moved out of the shot. 'Do you not want to be associated with them in a photo?' I asked, and everyone laughed. Because it was so clear: those two just radiated happiness, and joy in being alive. It felt good just to bask in their sunlight.



There's nothing you can make that can't be made. No one you can save that can't be saved. Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time. It's easy.

All you need is love.

Whatever you're doing today, I wish you a happy Valentine's Day. If you happen to be on your own, so what: be your own Valentine. It's not a bad place to start.

    bliss! tim & kyle do look like greek gods.

    it's nice how your posts always have a story, or something almost philosophical to ponder. it's a little something extra. :)

    i always enjoy the scale of your beach photos- that sweeping, wide open sky, the people smallish in comparison.
