Yesterday I was in the West End - and the sun came out in the most glorious way. From the moment I emerged from the dark of the Tube, it felt like everyone was back - all that wonderful, international, drawn-to-London cause we all speak the same language as different as we are - fabulous street style.
After having the BEST dinner with four wonderful fellow style blog friends (more about that to come) I skipped down Regent's Street in the twilight. Just before popping back into the Tube I passed this girl who seemed remarkably like Kate Middleton, England's possibly future Queen, outside Hamley's. Took this shot without slowing my pace.
It's good to be back. On the Street. Where I belong.

ReplyDeleteAhh, this is a great picture of 'the London woman', taken with typical London speed (which should be a slow pace for a NYer, I guess). When I was in London last weekend I felt it, too - the good old vibe is back, bye-bye summer lazyness.

chic, chic, CHIC. nude pumps, short classic trench...love it! reminds me i should probably invest in a trench, now that i'm in the real world and a bit of rain (what i still call a squall, which is not applicable here) could turn into a chilly downpour.
