Happy Bank Holiday Weekend, all in the UK, Happy Memorial Day Weekend in the States, and to everyone else round the world, Happy Weekend. Ah, just as I typed that, the sun came out.

style central (tierney gearon's show)

My husband and I went to the opening of Tierney Gearon's fabulous show @ Phillips de Pury, and I was absolutely kicking myself that I didn't bring my Spotmatic. Besides that her work is brilliant - various friends have been telling me about her for years (she shot my niece & sister-in-law), but also we haven't seen that many truly stylish people in one place.. perhaps ever. It wasn't the bling of B list celebrities, but people with true style. 

We might have been the only couple who actually looked at each photograph - they're huge, you'd think you couldn't miss them - because everyone was so busy checking each other out. 

Tierney shoots in film - and apparently, does the double-exposures in the camera, not digitally - which fills me with awe. That's true courage!
