WHAT'S THE CATCH?

You have to answer one of the following questions in the comments section. But hurry: this offer won't last. Your choices are:

a) Have you ever trashed a hotel room? (If so, where, when & why)

OR

b) Do you believe in Karma? (If so, can you give a recent example)

That's all there is to it. I'll be there, taking pictures. I've already been to the pop up shop - met the team setting it up, it's at the Truman Brewery - opened today and will be there til the date of the party, 14th April, so get your boney asses down there, boys & girls.

Anything else I forgot? Oh yes, click here for the ck one VIRTUAL CUBE.

I'm a NY girl, so of course Calvin Klein and I go way back. And MTV has always had a place in my heart, because when I started out as a graphic designer, I worked one-on-one with a very cool (& cute) animator, doing the first animations for a start up company called MTV. Bob Pitman used to come to the loft in Soho, with the animator and his girlfriend's pet rabbit running around the place, chewing up the electric cords. So for this to come full circle.. how could I say no.

So I'll be there. The question is, will you?

something tells me we're not in kansas anymore

Yesterday was just the most amazing day: starting with Chanel press day, ending with the party in Shoreditch to launch Mawi's first shop. EVERYONE was there: a street carnival yet exclusive: door policy strictly yet sweetly enforced by Ali: if your name was on the list a girl gave you a sweeties bracelet which was your tag and then Lexxi and I were in: a world of barkers, popcorn, hot guys, cool girls.. trannie fortune tellers.. FABULOUS music mixing old Stones & Beatles with stuff I didn't know but loved (figures: Daisy Lowe DJ'd the mix).

Don't know what they'd have done if it rained, but it was the most glorious celebration of the start of summer I could ever ask for. Such fun. And as if we've been chomping at the bit for the opportunity, the most conspicuous display of colour blocking I've yet to see. Off the runway. I felt like Dorothy, landing in Oz after a lifetime (or so it seemed) of this winter's cold grey dark blah blahs: suddenly, the world was rosy and technicolour.

Did I mention the jewels? Ah, the jewels. I LOVE MAWI. More to come: I just can't put it all in one post, it would take forever for you to download. And let's face it, peanuts: time is money.

Mawi launches in Shoreditch shortly. Meanwhile, go to MAWI.CO.UK. You definitely want to get on their list.

babes off the bike

Last, glorious, Sunday, when I swam in the Serpentine and it felt like the whole world was gloriously happy, I shot these two friends wearing clothes from, left, Spitalfields Market and right, from a shop somewhere in Shoreditch. It was such a fun little photo shoot - I wish I could post all four shots, they're a delightful little 'film' - that I forgot to write down their names, and it's flown right out of my head. Hopefully one of them will get in touch.

Didn't even realise til I looked at the shots, they've got helmets, so presumably they'd cycled over in flip flops. Still, it qualifies for the babes on a bike series, in a way, no?

Off to the beach - meant to be freezing so wearing a soft grey cotton knit hoodie (vintage, as in I've had it forever) paired with soft grey velour sweatpants, and thick socks. Have a lovely Sunday, wherever in the world you may be! xoxo

model behaviour: streetstyle glamour

Mr. Dot & I were in Shoreditch on a cool Sunday morning when we saw Amanda Swan, a glamour model, freezing her toes off on a quiet side street. Lee Barker, a photographer, was shooting her for her portfolio. You couldn't have met a nicer or more friendly artist and muse: absolutely lovely people. She had to sit to write her contact details because her feet were killing her. What we won't do for our art!
