backstage after bora

This brevity series is really fun. I'm going to take it to the next level and start being mute at social gatherings. Let's see how long THAT one lasts!

Shot at Somerset House after the Bora Aksu show, Day One, 16.09.11. But this is nothing: wait til you see the show!

Love the make up. Plum+Pink. A feminine way of wearing the smoky eye. It also looks great with peach instead of pink xxx

Love these shots, there's so much more in the eyes than on the runways.. :)

All the images are beautiful, but my favourite is the last one: beautiful eyes and gaze.

I tried to taking a leaf out of your brevity book and deleted all the text I had written to accompany those Paris pictures, but I changed my mind again this morning and put some of it back. I just can't shut up!

'A picture tells a thousand words' maybe, but I prefer listening to stories!

Of course you can use those pictures, I'd be delighted! I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Paris fashion week starts here today but it is an entirely different affair to London. I've enjoyed all your LFW coverage as ever!

'I just can't shut up!' Love it: that's going to be the name of my next blog. Or, 'Shut me up!'

Thank you, Imogen. I'm dragging out some self portraits from Paris - can't just make it about you ; )

Not Just a Pretty Dress: Thank you. I'm looking at your blog now, it's great - will comment there.

And last but not least, Adrielle: thank you. I never thought about it that way but you're right. That's why the photographers are always asking the girls to look at them. When you see runway shots, the models are staring off into space. There's always the shot at the end of the runway, when they're looking at the centre of the photographers' pit: that's the 'money shot'.

I guess there is something about an eye looking into the eye of the lens. Hmm. I can feel a post coming up on the subject. Thank you for making me think. That's what all this is for.

So love how you framed the first image. That's exactly the type of shot I like to take (with unsuspecting friends and family!).

There should be a Blogger Brevity Therapy group (like Alcoholics Anonymous)! We all suffer from the same problems! xx
