It's funny.. it's been so warm & sunny here in the UK, and this weekend, when it was getting cooler, and we had a glorious time in Hyde Park, lunch on the Serpentine, etc, people wearing wearing such a mix of winter, summer.. but one thing I've noticed: the bright colour blocking that is EVERYWHERE in the stores, in magazines.. not so much on the actual people.
Please don't shoot the messenger, I'm just reporting the facts, ma'am, but so far what I'm seeing on the street.. apart from the red/white/blue motif of the royal wedding crowd, for the most part people are staying neutral.

Hi Jill. Thanks for your comment! A weak sun is trying to pierce through the clouds as we speak. I am a total believer in global warming now. How can London be incessantly sunny and New York so cold and damp? Crazy.
@Photodiarist: karma ; )
Just the world's cyclic warm/cold as it has been for eons, so say the weather guru's... global is not necessarily man's fault (although we have been most destructive of nature) but nature can very well take care of itself if we stop interfering and insist upon cutting the trees and paving everything it sight so the earth cannot breathe.
Love the colors on everyone else, but I prefer to rock it in neutrals and the best neutral "black". Love your comments and posts! Keep them coming. PS the Chanel Vernis Gold Polish is available on US ebay and a lot of the sellers do ship to England! :)
LOVE YOUR BLOG! :D
I so wish our summer would hurry up and get here! Unfortunately, spring and winter are still duking it out going back and forth. Anyway, I LOVE the bright colors :)
I haven't seen much colour block evidence either...saying that I live in the style back and beyond. The wildest people get here is flip flops in place of uggs.
It is a hard trend - i just posted yesterday on my blog about it being difficult but i am def going to give it a go! x
