Does anyone have a clue who made this skirt? (This isn't a competition, mind you: I honestly don't know, and didn't ask). I'm just wondering what happens when you sit down. Or perhaps, you don't.
See Garance Dore's latest post on skirt lengths. With a micro mini, apparently when you sit down, you have to be prepared for the skirt not to move so that you butt and the chair become intimate friends. Perhaps too intimate.
It's lovely, but it's a double-whammy: not only is it too short to sit safely (her tights help with that, but still...), you'd crush those pretty flowers! But it would be hard to resist. I guess I'd have to save that for occasions when I knew I would be standing the entire time, like a cocktail party or something.
exNYer, married to an Englishman, residing in London. Once I was an art director, now I am a housewife. I am also a screenwriter, artist, just wrote my first novel.
I shoot stylish people.
I am not a blogger. I am a human being.
My blog began as 'streetstyle london' in January, 2009. I have since expanded to other areas: creatively, I feel that I've taken the 'streetstyle' genre as far as I could, and am passing the baton on to the next generation. Not that I'll never shoot or post streetstyle, mind you: just not exclusively.
I do not get paid by affiliates or PR companies to promote their brands. My opinions are my own.

Just realized that it's a skirt
It might be homemade, you never know!
Hahaha! You don't sit at all. But I love the details... it's fabulous.

Agreed - no sitting, and not often used. But maybe for the right occassion. Plant and Garden Blog
If it was longer you could sit right at the edge of the chair... maybe...
wow I'd so wreck that in seconds.
I absolutely love it
Thank you for the awesome comment. You may certainly "borrow" the photo for your blog. I would be honored!
