the wonderful world of nao

It was hard to choose just three shots of Nao, the stylist from Japan who I had met and shot on another day. I love everything about her style, which really is about her choices: her personal expression. Both times I met her, she was in the most subtle variations of white. I asked if that's all she wears and she answered thoughtfully: 'No, sometimes I wear light shades of grey and pink and beige.'

If you want to see something amazing, take a look at her work. And if you click on 'baby baby baby', you'll see the brilliant and beautiful Roz, of clothes, cameras and coffee. Is this the smallest world on the planet, or what?

Incredibly pretty and ethereal. It looks great because she's mixed texture, proportion and sheerness. Plus nothing is trendy; it's a very individualized look. I love this.
Will check out her site now...

I love these photos, and I agree- it is such a small world! I only relaise that you had mentioned me on reading it for a second time.. Thanks for that. I want to post that shoot on my blog sometime soon, and that is my second shoot that I worked with Nao on.
I love the details that you picked out here, especially in the first photo.. She has such a charming style, and I can see why it must have been hard to restrain youself with the number of photos!
Oh, and living your life in white, grey, pink and beige sounds rather lovely to me.
Thank you for the sweet comment!

I love her Longchamp bag! I just re-discovered mine a few days ago but I have to admit that her version with the cats is a lot cooler...
