The fact that this scheduled event should fall on the day we're - once again - mourning yet another tragedy in America, without even yet knowing which group or individuals have caused this, I find it all the more poignant that event about running - the revered, beloved, cherished Boston Marathon - should be linked with the idea of doing a walk, for charity, in bare feet.
And now - perhaps because I bragged about being 'twitter free' - I can't even tweet if I want to! So if anyone wants to tweet these on my behalf, please feel free. It's all for a good cause.
