freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose

First: I must start out by saying I don't like Janis Joplin. Never got it about her. But Mr. Dot found this video on youtube, a cover of her song, and I can't get it out of my head. Aren't they amazing? And so so in love. Just play it all the way thru, it's amazing.

I don't know the couple shown above: lost them in the crowd. Just hope they're half as happy as these two in the video.

jill, sorry i didn't quite understand how you want us to suggest what we like for Vogue street style. Just wanted to let you know that the one that stands out the most is from May, 7 titled Politics of style. also, i like of shots of Emily from Romania and the copper tone girl from May 22. sorry, you asked the wrong person. i am very indecisive too!

That dress is so pretty. Perfect for the summer.
Oh and about your vogue street style competition. There was one that instantly sprang to mind but I cannot remember when it was to find it, I know it was last year. But anyway, you might remember it, it was of a girl, I think she was a model, and she had a trench coat on, but looked quite casual and I'm sure she was also wearing a dark red. You probably can't remember from that very vague description, I'll keep looking!

Oh Lydia I know who you mean! That's Frida. And you know something funny? When I met her she was starting to do some modelling. And I shot with film back then so I only took two shots: she waited for the first click, then moved and gave me a second, equally good pose. No blinking.

I knew in that moment that she was going to be a real star. But she was very girly and friendly and emailed a few times & was really nice.

By fashion week this winter, she was modelling in the McQueen show in Paris - in fact, has been in like every show around the world. I think she won some kind of award for 'best new face'. I should enter her, and see if anyone at Vogue notices! After all, she did give her permission.

Thank you all for your sweet comments. I love that SoccerMom, you're as indecisive as I am!

Surprised that no one's mentioned the video. Please someone watch it! They're amazing.

I'm so glad you remembered from that dreadful description I gave you! Amazing how you managed to dot her just before she became known.
Great video by the way, so sweet!
