a question of balance

It's all a question of balance, isn't it?

Just had the most wonderful fashion shoot today, and can't wait to show you! Exhausted. But before I hang out with my honey & watch Jerry Maguire (or, perhaps the Fisher King, which is on at the same time) I wanted to do one post. It was just hard to choose which shots, and I just couldn't pick one.

Was thinking that I've been posting a lot of pretty blonde girls recently, and it's ridiculous because most of the planet isn't blonde (self included, altho my sister is a natural, beautiful blonde). And a truly moving post from the lovely NY blogger, Lynn, of all things nyc, called my hometown, really got me thinking about how precious life is, and how connected we all are. So, thinking about Lynn's family in Manila, and all the people whose lives have been turned upside down, and to the souls who have left us in an instant and a tsunami, and sending my thoughts and prayers to them tonight.

Here's to the individual beauty of men and women everywhere. From top to bottom: the wonderful Rhiannon & Leila, a really nice catwalk model whose name I forgot, and Jameela Jamil, a T4 presenter who was as tired from a long day's work as I am, I assume. Sleep well tonight, lovely blog friends. Thank you for your wonderful, wonderful comments this week, and always.

I love these shots and enjoy your blog and accompanying writings very much, Dot! :)

And I just noticed that I was tagged in your sidebar. I get a few of those every now and then-- and I enjoy your way of doing it on the sidebar, for all to enjoy. I will do that for my next awards!

Have a great weekend. xx D

Great pictures. The girl in second picture is very beautiful and her style is very casual, which I love. I really enjoy your blog, so keep up the good work :)

oooo, that asymmetrical haircut really gets me! and check out her gorgeous dress. it could easy have looked too precious and fancy, but not with that amazing haircut and bra straps showing: perfectly imperfect. of course, i love that.

nice work, J, as always.
